Ankit Palace is a decent 2 star staying option in Manali. The rooms are small and clean. The rooms also have carpets. The attached bathroom is clean and has provisions for 24 hours hot and cold running water. Power failure could be a problem but the hotel has plans to introduce the inverter system.
The restaurant serves good local and other cuisines, however serving food in one’s room is not allowed.
If you are looking for a cheap option in Manali then Ankit Palace is a good option. The view of the valley is excellent from the corner rooms and hence you should ensure that you book a corner room. The hotel is quite old but the staff maintains it well.
You can even go for sight seeing tours from the hotel. The reception desk will arrange them for you. Breakfast is however not included in the room tariff. The hotel is quite centrally located and you can reach the main city by walking for just 10 minutes.
The rooms in Ankit Palace Manali are worth their money. They have basic furniture but the beds are on the smaller side. Guests are quite happy with their stay in this hotel.
